Gutscheine können einen Gutscheinsponsor haben, der für den Gutschein gezahlt hat. Gutscheinsponsoren können zusätzlich zur Gutscheininformation auf der Webseite mit Name und Bild angezeigt werden.

Gesponserte Gutscheine werden wie ein Zahlungsmittel verwendet und **wirken sich daher nicht auf die berechnete Mehrwertsteuer aus**. Diese Option sollte also für Gutscheine verwendet werden, für die ein Kunde oder Partner tatsächlich bezahlt hat (wie z.B. bei einem Kaufgutschein).
